Understanding Dual-Homed Host Firewall Implementation

In my previous article, I have talked about the different types of firewalls that you should know about the different types of firewalls in network security. In this article, I want to talk about Dual-home firewall security in network security. Follow me as we look at that together in this article.


A Dual-Homed host firewall is a firewall running on a server with at least two network interfaces. Most firewall today are implemented in actual routers, rather than servers. The server acts as a router between the network and the interfaces to which it is attached.
